It had a bowling alley & games room, multiple swimming pools, conference centres, restaurants, bars, animal farms & animal feeding, surprise events & acts, free happy hour, a huge gym, a spa, an award-winning golf course and so much more!

The Artists, The Polo Field & What It Was vs. What I Thought It Would Be:

The Coachella lineup is the stuff of legends. Picture yourself dancing to the beats of Beyoncé, jamming with Radiohead, or getting lost in the melodies of Kendrick Lamar. The Coachella lineup is always very special hence why Coachella tickets sell out so fast. My favorite thing about Coachella is roaming around & discovering new artists. There are so many different & incredible genres to be heard. Coachella is known for providing once-in-a-lifetime performances/stage designs & sets which are a special moment between the festival goers & the artist. Coachella brings a once-in-a-lifetime performance from each artist which is never replicated, this is what makes Coachella so special - expect anything.

Coachella usually gets many surprise acts which are quite usually larger than the announced headliners. The Empire Polo Club in Indio where the festival is held, is very special; it is warm and picturesque and the desert mountain backdrop is very unique & cool to see wrapped around the whole venue. Coachella is simply a 'feeling'. The whole area of Indio is also used for spiritual retreats or where celebrities go on holidays or people choose to retire if they can afford to; you will understand how special the area is when you arrive.

The truth is, Coachella is even more spectacular in person than I could have ever imagined. The energy, the vibes and the sense of unity among the festival-goers are electric. It's a place where reality surpasses the dream, where you feel alive in the desert sun, and where you leave a piece of your heart with every performance. It was much more than just a festival for me, the art, the desert vibes, the fashion & the culture - Coachella simply is just its' own feeling.

Why did I choose To do a Coachella Tour?

You might wonder why anyone would opt for a tour instead of going it alone. Well, here's the deal – Coachella can be overwhelming. It's a massive event with endless options and missing out on some incredible experience in the festival or messing up the planning is a real risk. It is so popular & sells out so quickly that doing a guided tour to Coachella ( which is basically a luxury Coachella tour) was a no-brainer for me! There are 4 reasons though, why I opted for a group tour:

Accommodation is HARD to get and very expensive. Awake somehow manages to get an epic resort at a very reasonable price. There aren't any large hotels or resorts right at the venue so you really have to know what you are doing.

Transfers!!! This really should be my #1. Ubers to Coachella are like $200-500 and all of the shuttles, private buses, coaches & hire cars in all of California and neighbouring states are usually sold out by 10 months before the event. Unless you want to drive ( I don’t recommend this ) you need to sort out your transfers.
